Cheapest calls to India
Having worked abroad for a pretty long time, I know how it feels when we have to shell out almost 30 to 50 dollars on phone calls, just to speak to our loved ones back home in India. Much of our earnings are wiped out with calls. However much we try to limit ourselves, we are bound to call.
Every week I had to spend nothing less than 50 dollars for calling my family and friends. Today, we have many VoIP service providers through which we are able make cheapest calls to India, with call rates as low as $1 per hour. Yes, you heard it right, just $1 per hour. Few of them which I personally use are:
Types of India calling Cards
Net2phone - You have to buy the card from a local reseller, there are many resellers selling Net2phone cards. This is one of the cheapest calls to India card. You get a whooping 600 minutes for a $10 card. You need to download the software either on your computer or on your mobile having a wi-fi facility.
Once you download the card, you will have to enter the pin mentioned on the card. Once the pin is typed, the account balance and the talk time balance is displayed. If you call India, the screen will automatically display 600 minutes. But if you dial Pakistan, the screen will display only 400 minutes. Hence, depending on the country you call, the talk time is displayed.
FreeCall - Free call cards can only be used from a computer. This is another service provider offering cheapest calls to India. This provider does not support mobile wi-fi services. You require a computer with a broadband internet connection to make calls from FreeCall Card. Card cost $10 and you get approx. about 500 minutes of talk time.
Many users who are basically all the time in the office, are using this service provider as they can call from their computer to any of their friends or family living in India at anytime they wish to.
Dolphin - Dolphin cards is another cheapest calls to India card. The only advantage for these cards is that they do not require an internet connection. You can just register the card on your mobile phone & start making calls. To make a call, you need to call on a number which get disconnected within one ring. Immediately, you will receive a call back from a number.
Since your mobile number is already registered with the company while setting up the pin initially, you are requested to dial the overseas number directly. The only drawback of these cards is that you have to remember each telephone or mobile number you are planning to call. For a $10 card, you get a talk time of 150 minutes to call India. If you call from your official mobile, you will have to pay $1 for every 7 minutes.
Summary
Now, you all know, there are many types of cards offering cheapest calls to India. The best part is that they all come with crystal clear voice clarity without any disturbances. If you are working abroad, try buying any of the cards to make the cheapest calls to India.
