Implementing a Business VoIP Solution

People who can afford, they do one time large investment and then they are free from any type of worry. While others who can not afford, they can not do a large investment and they have to pay other for using services.

In the same way, if we talk about the businesses, the businesses are going to another way where they find huge profit, where they find the services at lower cost. They are growing day by day and this is the reason businesses are growing up.

The technology, I am going to talk about is very popular and is very common now-a-days. It is VoIP. Yes, it is VoIP that stands for Voice over Internet Protocol.

This technology is growing up day by day with more features. Businesses are now using this service instead of traditional PBX service which is much costly and have limited features.

But this, VoIP, has limitless features. Large businesses have turned their way to VoIP and the remaining also thinking to move towards VoIP.

The services of VoIP are not only for large businesses or multinational companies or large enterprise businesses but these are also available for those who are working on smaller scale, i.e., small and medium sized businesses.

VoIP Feature: Implementation of Business VoIP solution.

Now it is better to use VoIP for multiple users having more features, easy installation, etc than PBX. In traditional PBX system, businesses have to choose whether to use hosted PBX service or in-house PBX environments.

For small businesses, hosted PBX is best because all the software and hardware maintenance are done by third-party provider.

VoIP Solution Logistics:

VoIP installation is not complex like PBX. Implementation of VoIP is easy. IT requires the following:

o        Broadband Connection

o        IP Phone

o        Router

o        Broadband Modem

o        Ethernet Cables

Now, one does not need to plug internet phone into phone. Instead just connect it to router which is then connected to broadband modem. If you want to start small business then it just take an extension cable and connect it to router.

Usually, the router that is very smallest also has four to five ports and it gives access to small businesses and home or office to install three phones. However for medium sized businesses to use more than four or five phones, they require IP PBX. IP PBX is not an expensive.

The specialized IP Phones have lot of features, easy to install, inexpensive, etc. The ordinary telephones can also be connected through an analog telephone adapter (ATA) and these telephones can also be used in this way.

The security is very important factor in business VoIP implementation because it is an internet device and there is possibility for hackers to enter the system so it is highly recommended to keep VoIP system with in firewall.
