Magic Jack and Fax Machines

You may not be able to use Magic Jack with a fax machine. Most ISP companies carry the CODEC requires bypassing a fax. I tested it with my fax. I was able to transmit but no one could send me a fax.  I could not figure out the reason because I pressed start and ringing continued.  At least I am able to send a fax.

Phone For Travel

Magic Jack is portable enough to carry with you when you travel. The number of you house phone is still accessible (is it really a vacation to have you number accessible?). Your kids who are in college can be given a Magic Jack so they have the ability to phone you.

A great deal of them already has a laptop; it is handy to have with you if you are on a business trip. When you go outside the country, the calls will not cost you anything in Canada, U.S., Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.

Call Forwarding

It is easy to forward calls using the Magic Jack. Keep in mind call you will be charged for forwarding by your mobile service company. You will be able to take calls in the same way as a land line phone.

Give Magic Jack as a Gift

Magic Jack makes a great gift for family and friends, This is especially useful for your contacts and relatives who live outside the country and you save money by giving them the same device.

They can phone you from outside the country at no extra charge, If the person you are trying to call does not own a telephone but they have a computer with an internet service, the Magic Jack will let them get in touch with their friends and family who live outside the country in Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and Canada.

Decoration

You will also be able to use also use the device as a decoration since it is available in blue and pink. My device came in a silver package that has a blue light. I have it sitting adjacent to my desk. I find this okay because I happen to be utilitarian. Other people may find the pink matches their personal preference and décor.

As you can see, the Magic Jack has several uses. It is able to serve as a standard second phone, a way for family to stay in touch without being concerned for long-distance charges, presents, college students, and home décor. You can try it free for thirty days. If you decide to keep it, you will never have expensive phone bills again.
