Tele-Conferencing with VoIP

Chat and talk on phone is called tele-conferencing. The tele conferencing does not contain the higher features of web conferencing as, common information video and whiteboard, etc. But tele conferencing also exists for the help of both large and small businesses.

The problem of face to face meetings and bearing expensive of journey for meetings has been resolved by the tele conferencing or web conferencing methods. In the new method of business, all the companies are present inside one single ‘building’.

Companies are experiencing the new partnering and outsourcing model. On some occasions, different persons will be needed to call all at once. A company must have the facility of communication with outsourcing persons and different partners.

They may not be at the same location all the time so the web conferencing becomes necessary which makes it ‘home’ for all the calling people to be connected to a hub and then become able to talk to each other. .

Tele-Conferencing Explained

With the packages of telephony services the main type of tele-conferencing is available that allows three ways of calling. The official tele-conferencing permits a person to call almost more than two persons from the same phone so that they can communicate with one another. But tele-conferencing has become unrealistic for common business, where many participants may be at different places and may be on the go.

Features

Tele-conferencing also takes place by a hosted IP PBX service or by in house IP PBX. During this situation, all the participants who want to call into the ‘hub’ are linked to tele-conferencing. Large number of people may involve themselves in the conversation at the same time.

Tele-conferencing offers highly developed features. It gives the system to assign the right of “listen only” for some callers, and the capability to declare to a group about a new comer.

For the large presentation “listen only” feature is commonly used. The ability to record the conference and many other features are also available.

IP PBX is better used with a tele-conference bridge during the real time tele-conference.  Server based software is used that permits different calls through PBX that are later joined together. These teleconferencing services are available to the customers at a reduced cost by the VoIP service providers.

Teleconferencing was previously possible but at a very low level; only a few people were allowed to talk to each other at the same time. The use of web cams and data sharing was not possible. But now the VoIP has made it possible for the businesses to go for the teleconferencing with a lot more features and yet on reduced price.

This has become possible through the VoIP which may be hosted, managed or on-premises one. Great expenses involved in the actual get together of the companies have lessened and all the businesses can enjoy the benefits of the teleconferencing.
