What is VoIPzoom?

VoIPzoom is a softphone and users can begin making calls from their computer to any country in the world. To begin using VoIPzoom services, users must have a broadband internet connection, a computer or a laptop and a headset. Free Calls – VoIPzoom allows registered users to make FREE calls to landline numbers to almost 41 countries in the world which includes Argentina, Belgium, Finland, Greece, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, United Kingdom etc. Even calls to mobile phone numbers of China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand & USA are FREE. But these free calls are limited to a certain period once registered. After which normal call charges will be implicated.

Call rates – If an user is based at Australia and he wants to speak with his friends who are based at UK, India and Russia, call charges per minute for each destination will be as follows: UK – Landline is FREE, mobile number charge begins at 8 cents per minute, India landline and mobile number charges are the same at 2 cents per minute and to a Russia landline is 3 cents per minute and to a Russian mobile number it is 4 cents per minute.

Unused credit – Incase a user has added credit to his/ her VoIPzoom account and has not used it for quite some time, they can apply for refund within 90 days from the purchase date by requesting with their customer service agent.

Free Talk time – New users who has just registered without adding credit to their VoIPzoom account can begin speaking for FREE for a maximum of 60 minutes. This is a trial offer given to check the services of VoIPzoom and their voice clarity. Once registered with credit, users are allowed with free talk time of upto 300 minutes per week of FREE calls. Unused credit time cannot be carried forward to the next week. For e.g. out of 300 minutes, if a user has exhausted 200 minutes for a particular week, the next week again they are allowed 300 minutes, but the 100 minutes backlog of last week cannot be carried forward to the next week.

Minimum system requirement – Minimum system requirements for downloading VoIPzoom on a computer are that the system must have either windows7, windows vista, win XP or windows 2000, 10 MB free hard disk space for the software to be downloaded, min. 128MB ram, and a broadband internet connection.
